For this year’s #NursesWeek celebration, the theme is “Nurses Make the Difference,” and we couldn’t agree more! We want to recognize our dedicated #nurses and the #life-changing work they do in bringing comfort and care to patients every day.

It might surprise you to learn that the #1 way to stop germs from spreading is by washing your hands. #WorldHandHygieneDay gives us one more reason to protect our handshakes, hugs, and friendly high-fives with the ones we care about.

We’re thrilled to bring greater awareness to communication disorders and hearing health during National #SpeechLanguageHearingMonth. That also means recognizing our team members who work with those affected by speech and hearing disorders. Thanks for all you do!

Alzheimer’s patients who are in the late stages of this physical and terminal illness are often not in a position to make decisions for themselves. This leaves these important decisions to family members and trusted healthcare advisors to help make choices. We are available to provide comfort care and preserve dignity while also coordinating treatment with our network of professionals and community resources. Questions? Don't hesitate to reach out. We are here 24/7/365 at (855) 488.7026.

As a volunteer coordinator for six years, Sandra plays a vital role in our community. When asked why someone should spend their time volunteering with hospice, she explained that it's "extremely rewarding to know one is helping patients and their families through such a difficult time." Sandra and her dedicated volunteers ease others' burdens every day, and we are grateful for all they do. https://lnkd.in/euJkrnTK

This week is National Volunteer Week, which has us reflecting on our amazing, generous volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering and have what it takes to meet people where they’re at with kindness and compassion, we’d love to hear from you. https://lnkd.in/eQtanRiG

When asked to share a memorable experience, volunteer coordinator Julia W. described this year's food drive when one brave soul stood outside in the cold and pouring rain for four hours helping her collect donated items. Julia and her volunteers show up rain or shine for our community, and their service is a gift that we do not take lightly. https://shorturl.at/eryQZ

Rebecca S is a volunteer coordinator with us, and when asked what volunteers do she said, "They show up at the most difficult time in life and demonstrate both love and compassion, deserved or not, to all equally." Today, we want to acknowledge and thank Rebecca for all she does for those she shows up for. https://shorturl.at/HKMR9

Today we're celebrating Lacey P, a volunteer coordinator of 2 years, who when asked why someone should spend their time volunteering with hospice said, "What is more rewarding than being able to make someone’s last days and memories on Earth? In my opinion nothing. Nothing compares to knowing someone passed from this earth with everything they needed and happy because of the services we provide." We couldn't agree more and thank Lacey for all she's done for the lives of others. https://shorturl.at/cdmDO
