Despite the holiday’s popularity among the Mexican American community, Puebla remains the only city in Mexico to truly celebrate the historic event. With this in mind, the BCC-Rotary chose a main beneficiary dedicated to helping Puebla.
JUCONI is an award-winning charity dedicated to serving at-risk children and their families. The organization, which has been recognized by UNICEF for “Best Practices”, strives to use education and personalized therapies to end the cycle of poverty and violence. All proceeds from the event flow through the BCC-Rotary Club Foundation, which also supports numerous other local and international organizations.
