Tim was super responsive and accommodating as we had to change the time of the appointment several times. A few days before, our kids and their friends were trying to live out their espionage dreams and tried picking the front door deadbolt lock by inserting blades of grass and twigs in it. Somehow, even after removing all the debris from the keyhole, when the key was inserted the deadbolt would not move. Tim came and fixed the issue with our front door lock quickly.

My wife did not know this when I first called but it turns out that Tim lives up the street from us and of course, refused to charge us for his services! We'll be using him again if we ever need to. So grateful to have such a reliable and knowledgeable locksmith as a neighbor!

I locked myself out of the house on December on a cold day. Kensington Locksmith arrived in 20 min and I was back in literally in seconds.

They charged $155 and this was a competitive price. Another nearby locksmith quoted me at ~$30 to show up and $120-$150 for unlocking.

Hopefully I won't need their services again :) but would use them again if I did!

Tim came out and was very efficient. Explained the problem, got straight to work fixing it and was done within 20 minutes. I'm very pleased with the outcome and will gladly call again if ever I need anything.

Tim from Kensington Locksmith rekeyed four locks yesterday to our new house in Wheaton! He was very pleasant, efficient and took the time to explain what he was seeing in the configuration of the locks. He also finished very fast! Unscheduled previously, I also asked him to look at the garage door lock as the seller never gave us a key. Tim was able to help us out with rekeying the garage door as well on the spot.

Called Kensington Locksmith for an emergency Repair on a Sunday. Tech came pretty quickly which was great. He told me the door needs to be removed in order for it to be fixed properly for $2749.92 plus the initial visit charge of $175.00 but it would take a few days for them to return.

Did not feel good about quote. Called another company for second opinion. Second company was able to fix door on the spot for $800 with out fully removing it.

Great local business! Came across this company while doing a search for locksmiths in my area. I was recently in a situation where I needed to get a locksmith to my business ASAP and Tim was able to help me out right away. He was super friendly and pricing was surprisingly fair...especially considering how fast it was all taken care of. Great service! I contacted them through Yelp and they responded as promised, in about 10 minutes after my request. The locksmith came on time and fixed a lock on my patio's sliding door at a time that was convenient for me (they originally offered to come at 6pm) at a reasonable price. I would recommend them for future jobs! Thanks for a great job!

Highly recommend. We called on Christmas Eve, and he was at our house within 15 minutes. He was very careful to make sure he didn't damage the door. Reasonably priced and very pleasant. Will call again if needed.
