At the end of last year, my daughter made an appointment with this practice 3 weeks in advance, but had to cancel it the very next day. In about a month, she was surprised to find out from her credit card bill that they charged her $365. She called their office thinking that was a mistake, but the office not only refused to return the money, they insisted that this charge was legitimate and that they ostensibly disclosed to her during the appointment scheduling that the $365 charge is non-refundable. They most certainly did not disclose that to her, and if they did my daughter never would have scheduled it in the first place.
Think about it. Do you know of any other medical office with such a draconian policy of charging hundreds of dollars for nothing (no services)? I would understand if there was a 24-48 hours in advance cancellation policy, but the charge was for an appointment cancelled 3 weeks in advance! Even without seeing these doctors, one can judge their greedy and callous character by the audacity of imposing a non-refundable (under any circumstances) fee of $365. In my view, it is unethical and immoral.
This review is to warn the public. Stay away from this office!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We are sorry that your daughter was not listening when scheduling an appointment. Even the website for the practice indicates the nonrefundability of the initial patient deposit (which is applied to the first visit). We hope that your daughter and you will have good health in the future.

Please beware when attempting to get correct billing for reimbursement. I've been waiting 3 months, after emailing, calling, and even having my health insurance company call to try and get proper billing codes. Staff was very rude to me and the insurance rep. They were also very vague when I asked about pricing for infusions. They wouldn't book an appt without a deposit, but would not give me a price. There are other integrative doctors who actually give upfront information and provide valid billing.

I don't normally write reviews on Yelp but this practice deserves one. I have been going to Dr. Rosenberg for many years (like 10 or something). She has done more for me than any other doctor I've ever been to in my entire life. So I think that counts for something. She is dedicated and persistent and because of her training is able to bring another dimension to health care that you just don't get from most GPs. If you are open to alternative forms of medicine (chiropractic, herbal, vitamin supplements, etc.) she is where it's at.
I also sought Dr. Leo's help during the covid-19 pandemic. He went beyond the standard advice you hear on the news or read online to create a personalized plan for both preparing and dealing with covid that was tailored to my own age and risk factors instead of just the generic advice you read about on CNN or whatever. That is the sort of thing I expect from doctors. Anybody can just read to you off a website.
In short, check them out if you are interested. I'm sure glad I did.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melanie W.Anchorage, AK449715Feb 9, 2022
I learned in the military that the sign of a good leader is when their staff are intelligent and feel empowered to communicate honestly in a culture of altruism where they enjoy a collective pride and eagerness to serve to their best ability. I've never met Dr. Leo because his secretary's motto is "No, we can't." which, along with her fearfulness, seems to cloud her ability to understand at the most basic level. All of his training, education, and expertise that is written about on his website gets choked out at the starting gate. In this day and age, folks are eager to find and pay good money for a rare doctor with excellent moral character, driven to use their privilege, talent and skill to really make a difference. If I just wanted another myopic drone looking to collect admission and do as little as they can to check the box, I'd go to my PPO. Can't see the light for the bushel here. Sigh.
I tried to make an appointment. That's the whole point.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

We are sorry your opinion is determined without meeting the Doctor or making an appointment. We hope for the best for you in the future.

I have been debating for more than a year over what to write in this review. Dr. Leo saved my life. But also, he nearly killed me. Dr. Leo can read a blood test - and any doctor can do that. But he also claimed to be able to prescribe natural thyroid medication he couldn't prescribe (he can't legally prescribe ANYTHING you can't buy yourself). He put me on toxic levels of supplements - upwards of 30 pills a day - and never did get me that natural thyroid medication.
Dr. Leo spent 3 years contradicting himself about what I should/shouldn't eat when - all along - a food sensitivities test was available. Dr. Leo looked at me and GUESSED, because I paid him $300/visit to do that.
After 3 years of Dr. Leo's guessing, I discovered the LEAP test, did it myself (NO doctors) and now I am finally on the road to healing.
He was a stepping stone to my healing, because he did a blood test and put me on supplements - but he also royally screwed me. I got heart palpitations and had issues with iron supplements, but he kept prescribing more and more and more. When my blood test was nearly perfect, he upped my intake for the last time.
I now take 4 supplements a day, eat the foods I learned that I CAN eat, take the thyroid medication prescribed by someone else, and I AM FINALLY HEALTHY. I spent 3 years with him, staying SICK because he didn't care about me. He cared that I would keep coming to see him at $300/visit.
Do a LEAP test, with a nutritionist if you need one. It will be way cheaper and way more reliable. I now trust NO ONE in the medical field, least of all Dr. Leo. Please save your money and do your own research. Trust your GUT, not a "doctor."Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

It is good to hear that you are healthy and you "stayed the course" that Dr. Leo proscribed to get there. We wish you the best in the future.

Dr. Leo is a very expensive doctor but worth it. I am going to steal his joke and say that he is a "resort doctor" - that is, a doctor of last resort. He is the last doctor you will need to see if you have a vague and complicated problem like I did. He is the doctor you need to see if you are desperate for answers that countless other doctors have not been able to provide.
I was progressively getting sicker and more and more miserable over a period of years. It is possible that no one would have ever diagnosed me if I had not stuck with Dr. Leo. Granted, he did not diagnose me on the first visit - in fact, it took several months of EXTENSIVE testing including something like 100 blood tests, saliva tests, urine tests, an MRI, an ultrasound, and a CT scan.. Lots of trial and error and ruling out of things. But ultimately he did discover my major problem which no one else even came close to doing.
Dr. Leo seems extremely well-versed in the subject matter and has been so helpful and accommodating in putting the pieces of a complex puzzle together. I like that he has a holistic approach but also prescribes prescription medications without complaint. I also find him very agreeable.
I will warn that if you request a refill outside of an appointment you will be charged for his time, but that is my only complaint, and it's not a big one.
Even when I am well, I am hoping to stick with Dr. Leo as my primary care doctor.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I had been trying to make some recurring health conditions go away for years when someone recommended this practice. Dr. Leo explained to me that I was focusing on symptoms and needed to get at the root cause. He persuaded me to change my diet and put me on supplements and it made a huge difference. The recurring symptoms disappeared, I gained energy, and lost weight.
My appointments with Dr Leo are an hour long. His diagnostic tests (Bloodwork, etc) go beyond those ordered by a traditional physician and he patiently explains what the tests indicate, and his recommendations. The tests are moving in the right direction, so I give him credit for his diet and supplement recommendations.
He has always been extremely professional, and his office staff have likewise been friendly and professional. I recommend the practice to my clients without hesitation. I have not met Dr Rosenberg yet, but clients I have speak highly of her.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Patricia B.Baltimore, MD04Apr 11, 2022
I called last year, made an appointment, and was told to give a deposit of 365$. I did. Then, within 24 hours I canceled the appointment because I found a better provider. I called, spoke to the receptionist, and later emailed confirming the canceled appointment. Then I contacted them to refund me the 365$. They refused and were very nasty. A Dr. Rosenberg wrote me a very unpleasant response, claiming that a doctor had spent a lot of time reviewing my information, so they did not need to refund me the deposit. I provided documentation to my credit card company about the 24 hour refund policy and disappointingly Chase did not return my money to me. This is predatory behavior on Today's Integrative Health's part: many clients are sick and dying and terrified (I was in the process of being diagnosed with advanced cancer). The utter lack of sympathy and money-grubbing actions of Dr. Rosenberg can only lead me to pray for her. She needs a lot of prayers. I will also report this business to the Better Business Bureau.

Dr. Rosenberg always makes my body feel great! I have been getting seeing her for years. She goes above and beyond spending plenty of time figuring out what is going on and where to adjust me each visit. I highly recommend her. She is a excellent chiropractor.
