MEDIA CONTACT Jessica Pettit Imagination Stage [email protected] 301-280-1641 For Immediate Release MY FIRST IMAGINATION STAGE PRESENTS AQUARIUM, AN INTERACTIVE PERFORMANCE FOR AGES ONE TO FIVE March 30- April 14 BETHESDA, MD (March 14, 2019) Devised in an international collaboration with Lyngo Theatre- Italy, Aquarium transports the youngest audiences to a peaceful island world where fish soar through the air, lemons light up the sky, and sheep go parading by. “If audiences are looking for a break from March winds and April showers, Aquarium provides the perfect tropical vacation right here in Bethesda,” says remount Director Meg Lowey, Imagination Stage’s Artistic and Casting Coordinator. “Forget driving, flying, or taking the train. Using beautiful puppetry, a magical soundscape, and your own imagination, we transport you to a deserted island with good friends Jack and Calypso. Come play in the cool waters of the ocean, tend a beautiful garden, and even make the sun shine high in the sky—all in a day's work, or play, in Aquarium!” Aquarium, best for ages 1-5, runs in Imagination Stage’s Christopher and Dana Reeve Studio Theatre March 30 through April 14. Performances are Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. and select weekdays at 11:45. Tickets are $12 in advance and $14 at the door. Tickets may be purchased online at www.imaginationstage.org, at the Imagination Stage box office, or by calling 301-280-1660. Making his Imagination Stage debut, Noah Israel plays Jack. Noah has previous credits at Adventure Theatre MTC and Rep Stage. Also new to Imagination Stage, Linda Bard plays Calypso, adding to previous credits at Rorschach Theatre, WSC Avant Bard, and Adventure Theatre MTC.
